About Liquor Licences NI

Liquor Licences NI was founded by Mark Adams, a Chartered Surveyor by training with over 28 years experience of buying and selling Liquor Licences across Northern Ireland.

​

A graduate of Land Economics from Sheffield Hallam University in 1995, Mark joined one of Northern Ireland's leading Property Consultants where he specialised in licensed premises. 

 

Here he advised a wide range of major multi-nationals, as well as private sector clients acting in the disposal and acquisition of many high profile hotels, bars and off-sales in Northern Ireland, as well as earning a leading reputation in the complex field of Liquor Licensing negotiating and structuring some of the largest and most complex licensing transactions in Northern Ireland.

Mark later joined the UK's leading hotel chain Premier Inn (Whitbread Group PLC) in 2007 responsible for hotel development throughout Ireland and in 2009 became Development Director of an overseas Property Fund.

Throughout his career Mark has been actively at the forefront of licensing, transacting over approximately £10 million of Liquor Licences for bars and off-sales across Northern Ireland and is retained by numerous high-street retailers advising on Liquor Licence acquisitions and disposals across their regional portfolios.
